Leeza and Colin’s elegant Ladew Topiary Gardens wedding was such a beautiful and sentimental day. Leeza’s sister, Lea, passed away four years ago from cystic fibrosis, so the couple wanted to honor her at their wedding. It was so special getting to see all the ways they included Lea throughout the day.

 Handmade Stationery by Bride

Leeza designed and handmade all of her own stationery and included butterflies to represent Lea. The invitations had elegant floral details which complemented Leeza’s classic off-the-shoulder satin gown perfectly. Leeza carried a bouquet full of pale pink and white flowers and had a locket of her favorite photo of Lea wrapped around her bouquet.

Wedding Ceremony at Sentimental Church

The church that Leeza and Colin were married in was where Leeza and Lea went to elementary school and where Lea’s funeral was held, so it holds a lot of meaning for the family. Lea was the maid of honor in spirit, so they placed a bouquet at the altar to remember her and to have her stand by their side on their wedding day. Another meaningful way they incorporated their family was through their wedding rings. Colin bought their rings at the same jewelry store where his parents bought their wedding bands, so carrying on that tradition was really special.

Ladew Topiary Gardens Wedding Reception

Leeza and Colin wanted an elegant Ladew Topiary Gardens wedding because Leeza and her family visited the gardens frequently when she was a kid. They thought it would be another special way to include Lea since she loved going to the gardens. The gardens were a stunning place to shoot at! There were so many locations to choose from and I loved all the variations of green from the bushes and the flowers.

Elegant Reception Details

The reception for the Ladew Topiary Gardens wedding was held under a stunning tent which had a beautiful floral chandelier hanging above the dance floor. To create an elegant look, the couple chose white as their primary color with touches of gold and rose gold throughout the reception. They had white floral arrangements with rose gold table numbers and a four tier white cake decorated with white flowers. To add modern touches, they had a white neon sign with their last name and a rose gold mirrored welcome sign.  Leeza and Colin had a blast celebrating with their family and friends at their Ladew Topiary Gardens wedding!
