There’s something about a fall wedding in Jacksonville that just hits different. The weather finally chills out a little, the light gets that warm golden glow, and outdoor ceremonies by the water feel extra good this time of year. Maddie and Jackson’s wedding had that exact vibe, relaxed, fun, and full of the kind of moments that make you realize how excited everyone is to celebrate these two. From the morning getting ready with their friends to saying their vows by the water, it was just a really solid, joy-filled day from start to finish!

Getting Ready for Their Dream Wedding

The morning started with Maddie hanging out with her bridesmaids while everyone got ready together. Think music playing, makeup happening, lots of chatting. And a little bit of that “okay wait this is actually happening today” energy. The bridesmaids were in matching silky robes and the whole room just felt happy and relaxed. Exactly how you want a wedding morning to feel.

One of my favorite little details was Maddie’s jewelry. Her earrings and wedding day jewelry actually belonged to her mom, the same ones her mom wore on her wedding day. I always love when couples include things like that because it adds such a personal touch to the day without needing to be over the top. Jackson spent the morning getting ready with his guys, buttoning up his suit and doing the classic tie adjustments. It was laid back and fun, just a group of friends hanging out before heading to the ceremony.

The ceremony took place outside overlooking the water, which was such a perfect spot for a fall wedding in Jacksonville. The weather cooperated, the light was soft, and everyone gathered together for the moment Maddie and Jackson finally said their vows. When Maddie walked down the aisle you could immediately see Jackson light up. It was one of those moments where everything feels real all at once. Their ceremony was simple, meaningful, and surrounded by the people who matter most to them.

Afterwards we wandered around the property for portraits and honestly this is always one of my favorite parts of the day. Maddie and Jackson were just laughing, walking together, and soaking in the fact that they were officially married. The brick paths, big trees, and waterfront views made the perfect backdrop for those just-married moments!
