Engagement

April 16, 2026

There’s just something about an engagement session in Baltimore in the winter that feels a little extra romantic… Like quiet streets, soft light, and that crisp air that makes you want to stay close to each other all day. Chloe and Garrett’s session felt exactly like that. Easy, natural, and full of the kind of love that’s been growing for years. These two have been together since high school, made it through long distance, different states, and somehow found their way right back to where it all started. And you can feel that history in the way they are together. So comfortable, so playful, and so genuinely happy just being side by side!

An Old Money Winter Engagement Session in Baltimore

From the second we started, I knew this engagement session in Baltimore was going to have that effortless, old money feel. The architecture, the soft neutral tones, the classic city streets, it all just worked so well with their vibe. Chloe wore the dreamiest flowy dress paired with that fur coat moment (which I will not be over anytime soon), and Garrett kept it simple and timeless in a way that balanced everything perfectly. It didn’t feel overly styled or forced, it felt like them, just elevated. We wandered through the streets, stopped on quiet corners, and let the city kind of unfold around them. Nothing rushed, nothing overly posed, just the two of them laughing, pulling each other in close, and soaking it all in!

The Kind of Love That Just Feels Easy

What I loved most about Chloe and Garrett is how natural everything felt. There was no overthinking, no pressure, just a lot of laughter, soft moments, and those little in-between interactions that say everything without trying. You could tell they’ve done life together already.  The way he looks at her, the way she leans into him, it’s that kind of steady, comfortable love that doesn’t need to prove anything. And honestly, those are always my favorite sessions to photograph. Even in the cold, they made it feel warm. Running through the streets, sneaking kisses on the steps. Holding hands like it’s second nature… It was one of those sessions where time just kind of slipped by in the best way.
