Hannah & Cody’s romantic St. Augustine wedding under the oaks was the kind of day that just felt good from the start. Golden light, soft blue details, the prettiest tree canopy overhead, it had that effortless, Southern beauty energy without trying too hard. But more than anything, it felt personal. Like every part of the day meant something. And then the reception surprise happened… and I’m still not over it!
Golden Light & The Sweetest Ceremony Vibes
Their ceremony took place beneath the most beautiful oak trees, with sunlight filtering through the leaves in that glowy, dreamy way St. Augustine just does so well. When Hannah walked down the aisle, she looked calm and steady, not rushed, not flustered, just really sure. The way she and Cody looked at each other at the altar? Locked in. Fully present.
The details were soft and timeless, delicate blue florals, classic stationery, her lace gown hanging in the window that morning. Nothing felt over-the-top. It was elegant, but still relaxed. The kind of ceremony where you can actually breathe and soak it in!
The Reception Moment That Had Everyone Crying
Okay. This is the part. During the reception, Hannah’s dad grabbed the mic… and started singing. It was a complete surprise. And not just any surprise, it was the exact same song he had sung to her mom on their wedding day. You could literally see it click for her. The realization. The emotion. The full-circle of it all. Guests were wiping their eyes, Cody was looking at her like she hung the moon, and the whole room just softened for a second. It wasn’t flashy. Wasn’t staged. It was just meaningful in the most genuine way.
