There’s just something about romantic St. Augustine engagement photos that feels timeless in the best way. And Miranda & Shaq’s session completely proved that. Between the soft golden light, the dreamy architecture downtown, and the way these two naturally fell into step with each other, the whole evening felt effortless. They met in college after randomly being seated next to each other at an event. Then locked eyes again later that week at a party and basically never stopped choosing each other after that. Honestly? You can feel that history between them in every single photo!

This session felt equal parts elegant and playful, which is honestly my favorite combo. Miranda’s flowy white dress moved so perfectly every time they ran through the streets together. And Shaq’s classic black suit gave the whole gallery that clean, editorial feel without trying too hard. Downtown St. Augustine showed off a little for us too, the warm-toned architecture, the giant staircases, the palm trees glowing at sunset… it all felt straight out of a movie.

But more than anything, these two made the session what it was. They were constantly laughing, teasing each other, pulling each other close in between photos. Nothing felt forced. It felt like watching two people who genuinely love being around each other, and those are always the sessions that end up feeling the most magical.

You can go from romantic European-inspired architecture to quiet little streets with glowing sunset light in a matter of minutes, and somehow every corner feels cinematic. Miranda & Shaq absolutely leaned into that timeless vibe while still keeping everything relaxed and fun, which made the whole gallery feel so natural.

One of my favorite things about their story is how much friendship is woven into it. From college events to music festivals to years of making memories with friends, their relationship feels rooted in genuinely enjoying life together. And honestly, that energy showed up in every part of this session. The way Shaq looked at Miranda when she laughed? The way she melted into him every time he pulled her close? Yeah… the chemistry was chemistry-ing.
