Some weddings feel like a breath of fresh air, like the whole day took one big, happy exhale and that’s exactly what Jordyn & Mike’s Jacksonville Florida wedding was! Full of real joy, real moments, and the kind of romance that doesn’t need to be orchestrated, their garden party-style day was as dreamy as it was down-to-earth. Think pink florals, sun-dappled ceremony light, sentimental music, and their sweet dog Bentley stealing the show (yes, in a veil). This wedding didn’t just look romantic it felt it!

Getting Ready with Bentley

From the very first moments of the day, it was clear this wedding was going to be filled with heart. Jordyn got ready surrounded by her girls (and a whole lot of happy tears and giggles), but it was her pup Bentley who really made the morning special. He snuggled up in the bridal suite, wore a veil for some of the cutest photos ever, and gave full ring bearer energy later on. It was relaxed, playful, and full of anticipation. No stress, no pressure just the kind of getting ready vibes that feel like champagne bubbles and happy butterflies.

A Ceremony Soaked in Sunshine & Sentiment

Held outdoors with a backdrop of brick and ivy, their ceremony was so intimate and beautiful. Bentley walked down the aisle like the true star he is, and Jordyn walked with her dad, beaming. Jordyn and Mike were totally present, holding hands, laughing with their eyes, and soaking in every second. It was the kind of moment you feel in your chest!

After the ceremony, we wandered through the prettiest corners of downtown Jacksonville for portraits that felt classic, romantic, and a little editorial all while still being playful and completely them. Jordyn looked like she stepped out of a fairytale in her off-the-shoulder gown with floral applique, and Mike rocked a tailored navy suit that popped perfectly against the pink and green garden palette. What I loved most? They didn’t treat portraits like a checklist they just enjoyed each other. Every kiss, every spin, every laugh was real and unposed. And it shows.

Their Lively Reception

Their reception space was a literal floral fantasy. Tables were dressed in soft neutrals with pink accents, rattan chargers, and playful wildflower-inspired arrangements. I’m still not over the hanging greenery from the chandeliers, it felt whimsical and warm all at once. Guests found their seats with the cutest champagne glass escort cards, and the entire space glowed in the softest candlelight. Everything about the setup said “joyful garden party with a touch of elegance” and it couldn’t have been more perfect for this pair!

If I had to sum up this Jacksonville Florida wedding in one word, it would be joy. Pure, uncomplicated joy. The dance floor stayed packed all night, the cake cutting was full of laughter, and Jordyn and Mike’s sparkler exit was the perfect sendoff full of energy and love and confetti flying everywhere. The best part? They didn’t stress about being “on” for the camera. They just lived their day. And because of that, their gallery is full of moments real, emotional, hilarious, heartfelt moments. That’s the magic.
