I had the honor of shooting Emily and Chris’s ethereal autumn wedding! Their love story started out a bit differently than what you typically hear. They began as just friends, which I must say, is a great foundation for any romantic relationship! Emily and Chris first met in North Carolina, and what started as a solid friendship eventually blossomed into something more. They had this amazing chemistry that was undeniable. Their mutual interests and love for laughter were the initial bonds that brought them closer together. And then, one day, they realized their feelings for each other were more than just platonic.

But, as fate would have it, they had to do long-distance for a few years. Chris moved to Maryland, while Emily stayed back in North Carolina. Despite the distance, their love for each other only grew stronger. They managed to keep the spark alive, and their relationship thrived even with the miles between them. Their strong foundation of friendship, combined with their commitment and dedication to each other, surely played a significant role in this.

Eventually, they were able to be together again in Maryland. The joy of finally being able to live together was palpable. The bond that they had fostered over the years was now even stronger. Their love story was finally coming full circle. And then came their wedding day – the day they had been eagerly waiting for. It was a day full of laughter, tears, and lots of love. The happiness on their faces was so evident; it was contagious! To say that it was a pleasure to capture their special day would be an understatement.
