St. Augustine is one of my favorite places to capture engagement sessions! Located on the northeast coast of Florida, this beautiful city has a rich history, stunning architecture, and a vibrant culture. It’s a photographer’s dream! I had the pleasure of capturing a colorful and quirky engagement session at one of St. Augustine’s hidden gems, Spinster Abbot’s. Spinster Abbot’s is a very colorful location, full of colorful decor. It was really fun to capture their love in such a colorful background. They couldn’t have chosen a better location for their engagement photos!

Sally & Alek’s Colorful and Quirky Engagement Session

Sally and Alek’s playful energy was contagious and made for some truly candid shots. They were constantly laughing, whispering jokes into each other’s ears, and just having a blast. It was clear that they were completely comfortable being themselves, which is always a joy to witness and capture! The colors provided a fantastic backdrop that perfectly matched their vibrant personalities. Every photo we took in Spinster Abbot’s room was filled with life and joy! As we moved to different areas of Spinster Abbot’s, we found so many unique spots that added character to the photos. The couple’s chemistry was undeniable, and it was such a delight to see how they interacted with each other and their surroundings.

Towards the end of the session, we ventured outside to capture a few shots with the beautiful St. Augustine skyline in the background. The sun was beginning to set, casting a warm, golden glow over the city. It was the perfect way to wrap up an already amazing session. St. Augustine and Spinster Abbot’s provided the perfect setting for this beautiful engagement session. The combination of the city’s historic beauty and the venue’s whimsical atmosphere made for an unforgettable experience. I’m so grateful to have been a part of it and can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!
