I had the absolute pleasure of capturing a boho intimate backyard wedding for Jordan and Nicholas. And let me tell you it was beautiful! Now, this isn’t your typical love story, but it’s one that will surely warm your heart and maybe even bring a tear to your eye! Jordan and Nicholas have been together for 16 years. SIXTEEN! That’s a long time to know and love someone. Over the years, they’ve been asked the same question again and again, “When are you guys getting married?” They never had a clear answer. So, they would joke, “I don’t know, I guess in some random field on a Tuesday.”

Jordan and Nicholas’s Intimate Backyard Wedding

Little did they know that this joke would become a reality! When they realized their 16th anniversary fell on a Tuesday this year, they decided to plan a spontaneous wedding. But here’s the twist – they kept it a total secret! It was only a week before their big day that they shared their plans and invited their 20-30 closest friends and family members.

The wedding took place in a beautiful backyard. It was a simple, intimate ceremony that truly showcased the love between Jordan and Nicholas. It was not a big celebration with hundreds of guests, but it was perfect in its own way. This wedding is a testament to the fact that you don’t need a big, luxurious wedding to celebrate your love. Sometimes, all you need is a backyard, your loved ones, and the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. Adding a touch of sentimentality to the occasion, Jordan wore additional jewelry that belonged to her grandma. A beautiful ring with a heart and a necklace. It was a sweet way to remember a loved one and to have them be a part of this special day.
