I am so happy to share this beautiful picnic-themed birthday photoshoot I had the pleasure of capturing! This session wasn’t just any session, it was for my dear friend, Kaelah. We decided to have the photoshoot at Freedom Park in Charlotte, NC. Freedom Park is a special spot here in Charlotte; its lush greenery and sunny ambiance were the perfect backdrop to celebrate Kaelah’s birthday and her vibrant personality!

Fun Picnic-Themed Birthday Photoshoot

Let me tell you a bit about Kaelah. She may not be my first friend in Charlotte, but in the span of just 8 months, she has significantly impacted my life! Kaelah is a testament to faith and is a shining example of the transformative power of Jesus in our lives. She’s proof that people can profoundly change your life in a relatively short amount of time. Although I’m lucky to have biological sisters, Kaelah quickly became a bonus friend who feels like a sister. She’s a ball of energy and creativity! We share a mutual drive for our careers and a hope of bettering ourselves every day.

So, to celebrate Kaelah’s 24th birthday, we planned and executed a beautiful picnic-themed mini-session! The picnic theme was fitting for Kaelah’s sunny personality, and it made the session feel even more personal and festive. This year was special for Kaelah as she transitioned to being a full-time content creator and social media manager. It’s a significant step and one that we’re all incredibly proud of! To honor this, we included a camera in our session. It was an apt symbol of her new journey and a nod to the hard work she’s put into her career!
