The second I found out that I’d be traveling to Oahu, Hawaii in 2017 I began looking for models! I was only in Oahu for 10 days, but I was driven to make the best of it and squeeze in as many sessions as humanly possible! For Alyssa’s session I woke up at sunrise (sooooo not like me), caught a bus and met her at a local beach on the north shore! From the second I met her she was so personable and sweet! She made the very early morning much more bearable! I picked up the flower crown the night before at the yoga festival I was attending and it added the perfect boho addition to the session!

Then we began shooting and I remember how amazing she was! I usually have to provide clients and models with so much direction (which I love), so it was nice to not need to direct her much at all because she totally knew what she was doing! It also helped that this girl is goal driven! I think I was only one of her three shoots she had that day! And she is also an amazing portrait photographer and videographer! Like I said, DRIVEN!
