You may remember these two lovely faces, Olivia & Zak, from the day we convinced them they were just modeling for a styled shoot and Zak turned it into a surprise proposal. Well, a year and a half later that same dream team of vendors packed our bags and flew to Fort Myers, Florida for their sunshine filled wedding day!

These two met through their love of soccer and are without a doubt destined for one another’s company foreverrrrr. On the day of their wedding I had the privilege to watch them BOTH read letters. Usually the day is too crazy and I either watch solely the bride, or watch solely the groom, but very rarely do I watch and document both! However, since they got ready in neighboring beach houses I was able to do both! During the reading of their letters they agreed to get a new cat, quoted the same office reference and so much more! Without even knowing they both reference the EXACT same things as the other! A tell tale sign of a soul mate!

Watching these two interact, not only during their vows, but laugh endlessly through the heat and portraits (because I promise I’m not that funny), and shake it out together on the dance floor there was no doubt that this day was such a good celebration of the life they are going to build together.

Shout out to my amazing second shooter, Emma Jean, for these photos of Zak! Their first look was the sweetest moment and now, memory. I instructed Olivia like I instruct any bride or groom during a first look. Simply walk up, tap his shoulder, hug him from behind or pinch his butt, ya know whatever feels right. Well Olivia went in straight for the hug. They both simply sat there for what felt like forever in the warmest, sweetest embrace just taking a moment before the rush of the day overcame them. They sat and hugged and joked and laughed, then finally turning around to see one another. After witnessing many first looks and having the rush of needing to turn around right away, it was so perfect to watch them just take a moment, breath and appreciate the day.
