Romantic Styled Shoot Turned Proposal

Engagement

June 27, 2016

Where to even start? This day was definitely one that will go down in session history for me! Proposals are always so nerve racking for me! You have one moment, the moment he is on his knee, to capture their reaction. That one signature moment is the most crucial and no matter how many proposals I shoot it always makes me nervous! The good kind of nervous! The kind where you care so much about how it turns out because it’s just as important to me to deliver that moment as it is for the man who is asking the love of his life to marry him!

So, now you can see why I was so nervous when Zak wanted to do over an hour worth of portraits of him and Olivia before he proposed so that he could play it cool, like it was just another day. No pressure right? Wrong. I was freaking out! Before I even arrived I was nervous, but once I met Olivia and Zak and saw how they were together I was fine. They put me at ease. Their love and affection for one another warmed up the room (No literally, it was like a thousand degrees). She was so calm and collected and so was he! It was as if nothing could go wrong because at the end of the day he was going to be with the one he loved the most and promise her a forever. NOW that is my kind of couple! The kind who goes above and beyond to give each other perfect moments, but also realizes what’s the most important thing in the end, being with one another.

I want to say a HUGE thank you to Adriana for asking me to be apart of this magic! I know you could have had your pick of any photographer to capture this and I am honored you chose me! Now scroll below and look through how adorable and magical and romantic this entire day was! Leave a comment and let me know which one is your favorite shot!
