There’s something special about St. Augustine that just seeps into your soul. After living here for 6 months and falling head over heels for this little town. I knew I had to share the kind of St. Augustine weekend itinerary that feels less “tourist trap” and more “cozy adventure with a little bit of everything.” Think cobblestone beauty, incredible food, sunshine-filled beach days, and nights that end with live music and a drink in hand. This is exactly how I’d spend three days soaking up the magic!

Friday: Drinks, Music & Downtown Magic

The best way to kick things off? A slow wander through downtown. The streets are full of character, colorful buildings, small shops, and that undeniable beauty that makes St. Augustine the oldest city in America. Yes, it can get touristy. But it’s the heartbeat of the town, and honestly, you’d be missing out if you skipped it. Dinner is always Boat Drinks for us, because oysters + cocktails + the best burger in town is just the right way to welcome the weekend.

And when you’re done, stroll over to Prohibition Kitchen. Live bands start at 10pm, and if you get lucky and catch Chillula playing, consider it your sign the weekend is off to an epic start! Still not ready for bed? Pop into No Name Bar, the ultimate dive spot where signing the wall is basically a rite of passage. And if you’re like me and need something cheesy at 1am, end the night with Taco Shop queso. Trust me!!!

Saturday: Sunshine, Salt Air & Dinner With a View

Saturdays here are meant for slow mornings. I’d start at Address Coffee, the disco ball lighting up the room is reason enough to go, but the coffee and food make it even better. By night it even transforms into a wine bar, which is equally as fun. After that caffeine kick, grab a Publix sub, pack a cooler, and head out to Porpoise Point. It’s the locals’ spot where you can drive your car right onto the sand, set up a speaker, and spend the afternoon with salt water in your hair and the sun on your skin. Spikeball, grills, cold drinks, it’s the definition of a perfect beach day. Dinner? Honestly, you can’t go wrong with Casa Maya, Casa Reina, or Saint. All three bring the flavor, and St. Augustine is serious about making a meal an experience!

Sunday: Brunch, Quirky Finds & A Little Movement

Sundays here start slow with brunch at Sunday Gathering Table. The garden patio, the coffee, the food, it’s the type of place where you sit outside, recap the weekend, and pretend Monday isn’t creeping around the corner! From there, walk over to Spinster’s Bodega in Uptown. This area is full of artsy, quirky vibes, with little surprises at every turn (and yes, even a replica of Michelangelo’s David if you swing by Ripley’s). Before you hit the road or the airport, sneak in one last activity. Rent bikes from Drifters and cruise around town, book a Pilates class at SolFit or Garage Hot Pilates, or swing by Treaty Park for pickleball. It’s the perfect way to shake off that “weekend is over” feeling and squeeze in one last St. Augustine memory!
