Amber & Bruce's Yosemite National Park Elopement

Amber & Bruce’s relationship began all the way back in high school. Every summer Bruce would go to Yosemite to visit family and so Amber began to tag along. One summer he surprised Amber on a hike through the park and proposed to her at the bottom of the most epic waterfalls. So what better way to one up your engagement? Elope in Yosemite at Glacier Point… aka one of the most epic and breath taking views in the park!

Amber envisioned an intimate elopement true to who they were as a couple. She said “Bruce and I wanted to spend the entire day together, so he watched as i styled my own hair and had my makeup done, and I helped him get dressed and put on his tie. We had the most gorgeous wedding day. Although there is an actual amphitheater built into the rocks at Glacier Point where most weddings there are held, we decided to walk up the hill a little and found a secluded little patch among the trees that still overlooked Half Dome in the distance but was completely hidden by other park goers. It almost felt like it was just us on top of that mountain and that is what I always envisioned for the big day.. feeling like it was just US literally on top of the world. I can still smell the fresh pine.”
