When it came time to schedule Kim & Matts engagement session we went back and forth about availability. Sometime between March and April to allow them the perfect amount of time to send out save the dates. After thinking for awhile I received the most excited (which if you know Kim she has a lot of excitement always which is why I love her) because she figured out the perfect date. April 9. The day that they first said I love you to one another. As someone who is a HUGE sap, my heart melted.
I was so impressed by Kim’s ability to 1. remember the date of this and 2. to think to incorporate it into their engagement session and wedding planning process.

Although the rain got the best of us and we had to reschedule to a few days later, I LOVED that this concept was still in the air. The thought of planning your pictures around a date that was such a huge step in your relationship and what lead you to this engagement had my heart fluttering.
