I have been waiting for this part of the trip to come up! And now that it’s over, it was exactly what I was looking for and needed!
This wasn’t just any stop on the road trip. My husband and I officially packed up, hit the road as full-time nomads, and instead of it just being the two of us for this leg, we had my two best friends, Carly and Sarah, squeeze into the camper with us for a week in Jackson Hole and the Grand Tetons. Four adults, one camper, and some of the most insane mountain views I have ever seen in my life. If you’re planning a trip here, or if you’re dreaming about getting married or eloping in front of the Tetons (more on that in a second), let’s get into it.
Coffee Shops in Jackson Hole That Actually Live Up To the TikTok Hype
Can we talk about this for a second? So much of what goes viral on TikTok ends up being a letdown in person. You build it up in your head for months and then you get there and it’s just… fine. Not the case here. We tried two of the most talked-about coffee shops in Jackson Hole and both of them earned it.
Cowboy Coffee was our go-to more mornings than not. Good coffee, good energy, exactly what you want before a big day outside.
Snake River Roasting Co. was the other one, and honestly this might have edged out as the girls’ favorite. If you’re already planning your Jackson Hole itinerary around TikTok recommendations, these two are worth every bit of the hype. Rare for me to say that about a viral spot, but here we are.
@sarahmantin send this to the girly you wanna go to cowboy coffee with! #cowboycoffee #jacksonhole #jacksonholewyoming #wyoming #coffeeshop

Dinner at Teton Tiger + Photos at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar
We had one night we wanted to dress up a little and do a proper dinner out, and we landed on Teton Tiger in downtown Jackson. It did not disappoint. The food was incredible, the cocktails were even better, and it was the perfect way to close out a day of adventuring with the girls.
After dinner we walked over and grabbed some photos outside the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, because come on, you can’t come to Jackson and not get a picture in front of that sign. If you’re a couple thinking about getting engagement photos or even elopement photos in downtown Jackson, this stretch of town alone gives you so much to work with. Western charm, string lights, that iconic saddle bar sign. It’s a photographer’s dream, and it’s exactly the kind of spot I’d build a session around.

Horseback Riding at Spring Creek Ranch: Terrified, Then Obsessed
We booked a one-hour horseback ride through Spring Creek Ranch, and this ended up being one of my favorite things we did the entire trip. Full disclosure, all three of us girls had a slight fear of horses going in. But when you’re in Wyoming, you kind of have to, right? It felt like a rite of passage.
We rode up the side of a mountain with the Tetons rising up right in front of us the entire time. Genuinely stunning. Worth every bit of nervous energy going in. And for being in one of the most popular towns in America right now, $70 for an excursion felt very affordable!
My tip for you: don’t book the last ride of the day. The guides are instructed to get the group back to the barn sooner so staff can head home for the day, which means you’re a lot less likely to get photos of your group along the way. Book earlier in the day if you want the guide to actually slow down and capture the moment with you.

Sunrise at Schwabacher Landing + Mormon Row
We dragged ourselves up early one morning for sunrise at Schwabacher Landing, and it was so worth losing the sleep. Still water, perfect reflections of the Tetons, and hardly anyone else out there that early. This is genuinely one of the most photogenic spots in the entire park, and if you’re a couple considering a sunrise elopement in the Tetons, this location alone could carry the whole shoot.
From there we swung by Mormon Row to see the historic barns with the mountains behind them. Another spot that’s iconic for a reason. If you’ve seen a photo of a barn with the Tetons in the background online, there’s a good chance it was taken right here.
The Delta Lake Hike: Tougher Than a Walk in the Park, Not as Brutal as TikTok Makes It Look
We rounded out the morning with the Delta Lake hike. I’ll be honest, this one is a step up if you’re an intermediate hiker, there’s real elevation gain and a boulder scramble near the top. But it is not nearly as intense as some of the TikTok hype around it makes it seem. The four of us finished it in under four hours, and the payoff at the top, that turquoise alpine lake sitting right at the base of the Tetons, made every step worth it.

Where We Stayed: Teton Valley Resort
With four of us crammed into a camper for a week, where we based ourselves mattered more than usual. We stayed at Teton Valley Resort, and it genuinely felt like summer camp that never ends.
A pool, a hot tub, a bar and restaurant right on site, a free breakfast buffet every morning, pickleball, and nightly complimentary s’mores. I’m not exaggerating when I say it was insane. After long days of hiking, horseback riding, and chasing sunrise light, coming back to that setup every night made the whole trip that much better. If you’re planning a camper trip to the Tetons with a group, I cannot recommend this place enough.
