These romantic lake engagement photos with Briana and James were so sweet! These photos were actually taken at Briana’s parents’ house on the water, which just so happens to be the same place her and James got engaged! I love when couples choose a location that has meaning to them. Whether that be where you got engaged, your family’s private property, your favorite brewery, or even a romantic sunset walk on the beach! The options are endless when it comes to choosing your engagement photo location. For Brianna and James, it just so happened to be their proposal location and family property, which is so sweet!

Briana and James’s Romantic Sunset Lake Engagement Photos

James and Briana met a few years after graduating from college. It was in Fed Hill in Baltimore at a bar called Cross Bar. Turns out they both attended the same college, Loyola, and never crossed each other’s paths until after graduation! I always love to hear the stories of how couples met. I feel like it’s a way to connect to them more and to better understand their love story. And now here we are, at Briana’s parents’ house capturing their romantic lake engagement photos. This session was so perfect, and we were able to catch the sunset when we went out onto the dock at the lake which made for the perfect backdrop and warm golden tones.
