These senior portraits with Eli on her family’s farm and private property in Maryland were so much fun! The vibe was earthy and organic with some edge and boldness, and I loved every second of photographing Eli and getting to know her better. Eli wanted to have her portraits done on her family farm because she loves the way to sun rays shine through the leaves and onto the forest floor and the way it peaks behind the line of trees behind their fields. She wanted a warm and sunny session, so we did just that, and I love the way her photos turned out!
Eli’s Senior Portraits on Her Family Farm in Maryland
I always ask my clients what they love and what their favorite styles are. Eli loves bright colors and pastels and gold jewelry along with unique clothing and statement pieces, so she wore a few different kinds of outfits during her session and rocked them all! She also wanted to include her three year old pup named Pluto into her portraits, which was incredibly sweet! Their private property is beautiful, and it’s surrounded by old barns, a pond, and woods to walk through. It was such a great choice for her session not only because of the variety of backdrops, but because it has meaning to her.
