This past year has been a huge one of growth and change. Some of that stemming from life experiences I didn’t expect to have, death and the completion of college which then led to “what now?” I feel like I am still finding out every day what works for me in the real world and what 100% does not. But what I do know and have learned is that in becoming the person I want to be, I had to surround myself with those like that and with inspiration. Because of this I have decided to do sessions at least once a month that are completely for me and for my creativity. I want to build a space for my thoughts to come to life and to truly reflect who I am and what I stand for.
This short photo series is based off of creating a working environment for me to feel inspired by. Moving to Baltimore has made me really step out of my comfort zone and it has given me the opportunity to turn my blank slate apartment into anything I can imagine. It’s still a daily work in progress, but by finding what I am inspired by I can help find out who I want to be and what I want my work to ultimately be. Cheesy, I know.
