Jess & Matt had the kind of Summer Wedding in Jacksonville that just felt easy and happy from the minute the day started, even though it was basically 1000 degrees outside. It was one of those days where everyone was sweating, laughing about it, and still fully soaking up every second because the whole thing was just that special. Watching my cousin get ready and seeing how calm and excited she was made the day feel extra sweet to photograph!
Blush, Navy & Endless Sunshine: The Heart of This Summer Wedding in Jacksonville
Jess started her morning surrounded by pretty little details, her vow books, the soft blush florals, her shoes laid out so perfectly, and it all felt really true to her. One of my favorite moments was watching her mom help her into her dress. It was quiet, simple, and honestly just really genuine. Their ceremony setup looked straight out of a Pinterest board: a wooden arch covered in soft blooms, rows of white chairs, and the water behind them glowing in that bright Florida sun. And when Jess and Matt started their vows? They just couldn’t stop smiling at each other. It felt natural and real, like watching two people who genuinely love doing life together.
A Joyful Reception Glow to Celebrate Jess & Matt
The reception had that “we made it to the AC, let’s celebrate” energy, and it was perfect. The tent was bright and airy with blush linens, navy touches, and the prettiest twinkle lights draped across the ceiling. Everywhere you looked, people were hugging, laughing, and passing around drinks. And the dance floor? Absolutely unhinged in the best way. Glow sticks, sunglasses, Jess spinning around with her drink, Matt fully committed to every song, it was just pure fun. The type of reception where you grab your camera and know every single frame is going to be gold!
