Bow Ties & Bubbly : The Recap

For Photogs

January 12, 2016

This past weekend was a whirlwind! I had the privilege of having a booth at Bow Ties & Bubbly at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club for the second year in a row! Luckily I got to have my booth located at The Inn which is completely brand new, and amazing I might add!

Bridal shows can be kind of crazy. The prep usually takes longer than the actual show and being me I, of course, had to forget something. The night before after I was all set up I realized I had no business cards, none! Being an hour away from home and not wanting to drive an hour just for a few paper products I needed to think of something quick! Luckily after the styled shoot we went to dinner and right next door was a UPS store that printed! The kindest man rush ordered 500 business cards and had them done in a half hour! If this taught me anything it is to one, more more checklists and two, always keep files on dropbox and/or email!

Then, of course, the next day was the show! It’s amazing seeing the final set up and standing for 5 hours in wedges to chat with some amazing brides-to-be about their day! I loved getting to know new brides and seeing the excitement on their faces when it came to planning! Luckily my amazing second shooter, Emma Jean, came to keep me company and make sure no bride slipped through the cracks!

I couldn’t be more grateful for this experience and more excited to show you my booth and a sneak into the styled shoot! Lets start with the wide shot of my booth and the AMAZING plane decor 2 Hands Studios put me underneath! Talk about talent! If you ever have the chance to be in the Bow Ties & Bubbly bridal show I 100% recommend taking the offer! It’s so much more than marketing, it’s an experience!

Like I mentioned above, the day before the amazing team from my room and I put together a styled shoot! I was so excited with how it turned out and the amount of talent all these ladies had! Of course, I have to show you guys a quick sneak peak! This will have to do until the shoot is submitted and featured 🙂
